Websites for East Coast HVAC, Plumbing & Roofing Trades

Your reviews are five stars. Your website should be too.

Rowhouse Digital builds the kind of websites that turn Google reviews into booked calls. We work with one type of customer: HVAC, plumbing, and roofing contractors across the East Coast — starting in Philadelphia and expanding through NYC, Boston, DC, and Baltimore. That's it. That's the entire client roster.

01.The problem we see every week

Your reputation is doing the marketing. Your website is undoing it.

You've earned hundreds of five-star reviews on Google. Customers tell their neighbors. Those neighbors search you. And then they bounce — because the site they land on tells them a different story than the reviews did. Our first East Coast cohort (32 Philadelphia contractors) made the pattern obvious. Three real examples from the set:

"The most-reviewed plumber in Philly has 1,672 customer reviews. Their website is at a domain that doesn't say their name once."

Plumbing Pals — 4.9★ · 1,672 reviews Brand-domain disconnect — search the brand, land on economydrainclean.com, immediately question if you found the right business.

"This HVAC company has 2,116 verified reviews going back nearly three decades. Their site looks like it was last touched in 2012."

H & H Heating — 4.9★ · 2,116 reviews Frozen since 2012 — no mobile layout, no booking flow, financing widget missing entirely. Customers on phones leave before they reach the phone number.

"This plumber has 538 verified five-star reviews. Their hero counter still reads '0 Years of Experience' and '0 Technicians.'"

IFixdit Plumbing — 4.9★ · 538 reviews Broken JavaScript — the script that was supposed to show their real numbers never worked. First impression: this business is brand-new and tiny.
02.What we do — and what we don't

We build one thing: websites that earn calls.

We're not a marketing agency. We don't run Facebook ads, design merch, or pitch complicated SEO retainers. We build conversion-focused websites for three trades, and we maintain them month after month so they keep working.

For HVAC

Same-day call-converters.

Hero with a 24/7 emergency badge and click-to-call. Service pages by system type (AC / furnace / mini-split / boiler). Financing widget integrated. Service-area pages for every adjacent ZIP. NATE certification and license number above the fold.

Same-day badge Financing widget NATE certs Service maps
For Plumbing

Emergency-first architecture.

24/7 sticky call button on every screen. Master Plumber license number in the header. SMS fallback for after-hours. Service pages for drain / water heater / sewer / repipe / gas line. Free-estimate offer in hero. Reviews pulled live from Google.

Sticky call CTA Master license SMS routing Live reviews
For Roofing

Proof-first photo galleries.

Hero with photo gallery and a "send a picture of your leak" upload. Service pages by roof type (flat / EPDM / shingle / slate). Manufacturer badges (GAF / Polyglass) in the trust bar. Insurance-claim help. Workmanship warranty length featured.

03.Live audit deliverables

We don't pitch. We build the site first — then send it.

Every prospect we approach gets a fully-built preview website with their real Google reviews, services, and owner names already in place. Click any card below to see actual mobile-friendly sites we built for Philadelphia contractors as part of our May 2026 audit.

04.How we work

A four-step process from free audit to live site.

Most projects move from first call to launched site in three to four weeks. Here's exactly what happens, when, and what you'll need to provide along the way.

STEP 01

Free 15-min audit

We pull your Google reviews, audit your current website (or GBP if you don't have one), and show you the exact friction points costing you calls. No pitch, no hard sell.

Day 1 · 15 minutes
STEP 02

Discovery & proposal

One 30-minute call covers service mix, target neighborhoods, photography, financing partners, and brand voice. You get a fixed-price proposal within 48 hours.

Days 2–4 · ~1 hour total
STEP 03

Design & build

We draft copy from your reviews, design the site, build it on a fast platform, set up forms / booking / financing widgets, and walk you through a preview. Two rounds of revisions included.

Week 1–3 · we do the work
STEP 04

Launch & maintain

We migrate the domain, push the site live, set up Google Search Console and analytics, and start the maintenance retainer. Monthly check-ins to update content and report on calls.

Week 4+ · ongoing
05.Transparent pricing

Three tiers. No surprises. Cancel monthly anytime.

We publish pricing because we don't want to waste your time or ours. Pick the tier that fits the size of your operation. Most clients are on Pro — it's the right fit if you have 50 to 500 Google reviews.

Reputation Management

We monitor your Google reviews daily, draft warm personalized responses to every one, and run a review-request system that turns your happy customers into more 5-star ratings — month after month.

  • Daily review monitoring across all Google locations
  • Personalized responses drafted — you approve weekly in 10 minutes
  • Review-request automation via SMS / email to happy customers post-job
  • Monthly rating trajectory report + competitor benchmarking
  • Quarterly strategy call (optional, async-friendly)

A restaurant going from 3.8 to 4.3 stars sees ~9% revenue lift. For a $1M contractor that's $90K/year for $500/month of management. The math closes itself.

06.Why Rowhouse

We know one customer.
That's the whole point.

  1. 01
We speak trade, not tech. You shouldn't have to explain why your customers Google "flat roof Brooklyn" instead of "premium residential reroofing solutions." We already know.
  2. 02
We work with one customer type.HVAC, plumbing, and roofing across the East Coast. That's the whole roster. No restaurant sites, no e-commerce, no SaaS.
  3. 03
We charge what it costs. No retainer creep. No "you need more SEO." If you don't need it, we won't sell it. Our average client recovers the build cost in 3–6 booked calls.
  4. 04
Your site is yours. If you stop the monthly maintenance, you keep the site. We hand over the files, the domain, the analytics. No platform lock-in, no rebuild fees.
07.Common questions

Things we get asked most often.

Why only HVAC, plumbing, and roofing?

Because we know exactly how those customers search, what trust signals close calls, and how seasonal demand shifts. A homeowner who Googles "emergency leak Brooklyn" at 11pm is making a different decision than someone shopping for a new water heater on a Saturday afternoon. We've designed for both, dozens of times.

What if my current site is actually fine?

Then we'll tell you and we won't pitch you. The free 15-minute audit ends with one of two things: a list of specific things we'd improve, or a note that says "your site is doing its job — call us if that changes." We don't waste leads on businesses we can't help.

Do you do logos and branding?

As a $1,995 add-on, yes — a refreshed logo, color system, and basic guidelines. But we won't insist on it. If your existing brand has equity (your trucks, your uniforms, customer recognition), we'll work with what you have.

Do you do Google Ads?

Yes, but only on the Anchor tier, or as a $599/month add-on. Ad spend itself goes directly to Google — we never mark up media. We typically recommend starting at $1,000–$2,500/month in ad spend for a Philadelphia metro target.

What does the monthly maintenance actually do?

Spark ($149/mo): hosting, SSL, security updates, one content edit per month. Pro ($299/mo): all of that plus three content edits, monthly Google Reviews refresh, weekly GBP post, monthly call-volume report. Anchor ($899/mo): everything in Pro plus active SEO management, two blog posts per month, Google Ads management, monthly strategy call.

Am I locked into a long contract?

No. The monthly retainer is 30-day cancellable. We've found that contractors who like working with us stay for years; the ones who don't shouldn't be locked in.

What's the guarantee?

If we don't launch your site within the timeline agreed in the proposal, you get 10% off for every week we're late, up to 50%. We don't miss deadlines — but if we do, it costs us, not you.

How long does a typical site take to build?

Spark sites launch in 7 days. Pro sites in 21–28 days. Anchor sites in 45–60 days because they include photography, video, and more service architecture. We start with a kick-off email or Google Meet within 48 hours of signed proposal.

Do I have to get on a phone call?

No. We work primarily through email and WhatsApp. For discovery, we do a single 15-minute Google Meet with screen-share — easier to walk through your audit visually than over the phone. Everything after that — proposal, contract, payment, revisions — is fully async.

08.Let's see what we're working with

A 15-minute audit. Honest answers.
No pitch.

Send us a link to your current website (or your Google Business Profile, if you don't have one yet). We'll come back with a five-bullet list of what's working, what's not, and what we'd change if we built it. No sales pressure, no follow-up sequence.
